The Louisiana Leopard Catahoula Dog is also known as the Catahoula Cur.<br />2. Catahoulas are bred mostly for temperament rather than appearance. <br />4. A full grown Catahoula can weight 40-80 lbs.<br />5. The Catahoula comes in many colors including brindle, blue merle, red merle, and solid colors. <br />6. Catahoula's are apart of the herding group.<br />7. The Louisiana Catahoula Leopard Dog was believed to have been originated from the Nordic Wolfhound.<br />8. The breed is designated as the state dog of Louisiana.<br />9. The Catahoula Cur is extremely versatile and smart.<br />10.
