If you were thinking that Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt starrer Udta Punjab is about a light-hearted comedy or something, you are wrong! <br />So, what the film is about? Well, Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial venture looks at the increasing problem of drug abuse in Punjab. The thriller movie will also have a drug mafia and these four characters are probably related to the same in one way or another. <br />Not to forget, Alia Bhatt will be playing a drug addict in the movie. This will be a rather intense role to play as Mahesh Bhatt’s beti has never acted in that kind of space before. <br />Her portrayal of an abused and kidnapped youngster in Highway won her many accolades so she has a lot of pressure on her shoulders to outperform herself in Udta Punjab. <br />Will she be able to portray the role?
