A powerful earthquake has hit Nepal.<br /><br /> The shallow 7.9 magnitude quake was centred about 100 kilometres west of the capital.<br /><br /> It is thought many people have been injured, with two deaths reported so far.<br /><br /> Some buildings have reportedly collapsed.<br /><br /> The quake was felt as far away as New Delhi and other cities in northern India.
