Call of Duty: Black Ops III is a first-person shooter video game developed by Treyarch. It was announced on February 5th, 2015 for release later that year, and officially named on April 9th of the same year. The official, full gameplay reveal was shown on April 26th, 2015.[2] The game will be Treyarch's fifth game in the Call of Duty franchise and their first to be developed in a three-year development cycle. It is the fourth game in the Black Ops series, following Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Black Ops, and Call of Duty: Black Ops II.
