Eight years ago, a one month civil war broke out in the Gaza Strip between rival factions Hamas and Fatah. Although Hamas currently controls the local government, the divisions have never been overcome. Gazan youth held a rally in the beleaguered Palestinian enclave calling for unity between the different currents for a common struggle against Israeli aggression.
