A recreation of the gate bearing the Nazi slogan “Arbeit macht frei” – “Work sets you free”- has been installed at the site of the former Dachau concentration camp in Germany.<br /><br /> The replica was made by a local blacksmith working from drawings and photos of the original wrought-iron gate, which was stolen last year.<br /><br /> More than 41,000 people were murdered at Dachau.
