That’s the boast of Elon Musk chief executive of Tesla Motors.<br /><br /> The chief of the US electric car maker has announced the firm will build batteries that store solar energy and serve as a back-up system for consumers during blackouts and allow them to get off a power grid.<br /><br /> Tesla will sell the 7kWh (kilowatt-hour) unit for around 3,000 dollars while the 10kWh unit will retail for about 3,5000 dollars to installers.<br /><br /> Deutsche Bank reckons the sale of battery storage systems could yield as much as 4.5 billion dollars for Tesla.
