notice how the mayor, city council members, and other public officials have been of african descent... but the cops have predominately been of european descent... and many of these cops do NOT live in the immediate area. this makes it easier for them to dehumanize those they claim to patrol, when they aren't invested in the community. <br /> <br />there's also a history of cities being targeted, when there's a plan for mass gentrification/land grabbing. if i see expensive condos, yoga studios and 'cat cafes' up within the next few years, i'm not going to rule out that what happened was cooincidental.
