We start at Korea's National Assembly where a bill to overhaul the pension system for public servants will be put to a vote this afternoon,... wrapping up several months of negotiations between lawmakers from the two main rival parties.<br />If everything goes smoothly and the bill is passed,... public servants will be required to pay more in premiums while they work,... but receive less in payouts after they retire.<br />Lawmakers predict the new system will save the government more than 300 billion U.S. dollars over the next 70 years.<br />The public-servant pension program ended last year with an annual deficit of eleven billion dollars.
