Ahmedabad: The tagline of Gujarat Information Commission (GIC) is 'Citizens Have Right to Information' but do the government officers really mean their words? The answer is 'NO'. The series of questions have come to the fore at the end of government officers. The Right to Information Act (RTI) which was introduced in the year 2005 has witnessed negligence at the part of officers. There are only two commissioners due to which the work moves at the snail's place. This has also been revealed by the RTI experts that the officers who attend information seekers do not have adequate knowledge.
