2015-05-11 1 Dailymotion

Saudi-led coalition air strikes in Yemen continued on Sunday, leaving a Sanaa residence of former Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh in ruins.

The rebels and their allies in the country’s splintered armed forces said on Sunday they would accept a five-day humanitarian cease-fire to allow aid to reach civilians after more than a month of daily Saudi-led air strikes.

The cease-fire, scheduled to begin on Tuesday, would help ease the suffering of civilians in the Arab world’s poorest country who increasingly lack food, fuel and medicine.

The conflict in Yemen has killed more than 1,400 people, many of them civilians, since March 19, according to the United Nations.
No Comment | euronews: watch the international news without commentary | http://www.euronews.net/nocomment/
