A wealthy Brazilian doctor who had been dumped at the altar was arrested last Tuesday after allegedly hiring a gang to get revenge on her former fiancé 12 years ago. <br /><br />The appropriately named Myriam Pricilla Castro, ordered a castration on her former flame and apparently also ordered the gangsters to crash his car and burn down his house.<br /><br />Her alleged accomplice was her 76-year-old father, who helped her contact the gangsters in the southeastern city of Juiz de Fora.<br /><br />The 34-year-old was eventually caught by police and arrested, but absconded bail and made a run for it. She managed to remain in hiding even after being sentenced to six years in prison in 2009.<br /><br />Since then, Castro moved south to Sao Paulo, where she opened up a clinic and apparently finally found true love. She tied the knot with a new hubby in 2012 and has reportedly been travelling the globe, spending numerous vacations abroad.<br /><br />Her near half-decade on the lam came to an end, however, last week, when she was arrested on her way to work and quickly thrown in jail.<br /><br />Her lawyer, a man, claims that Castro is innocent, adding that she is planning to appeal.
