Shinya Yamada, a 30-year-old diplomat at the Japanese embassy in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has been arrested on suspicion of starting a fire at the mission.<br /><br />He was allegedly the last person to leave the embassy the day the fire broke out in late June. Police strongly suspect Yamada of arson. <br /><br />Yamada was reportedly caught by a security camera carrying a petrol tank into the embassy.
