Jandei Cherry was left naked without his clothes or skateboard in Hollywood, Florida, after his friend took off with the items following a fight. This forced Jandei to walk nude 10 miles home to Pembroke Pines along Hollywood Boulevard at 5am, October 6. <br /><br />But Jandei Cherry never made it home. He was stopped by motorist Duke Laguerre, who shot and killed Jandei following an altercation.<br /><br />According to the Sun Sentinel, this unusual story begins at the Quarterdeck restaurant at Dania Beach Pier. That is where Jandei Cherry, 22, worked as a busboy with his friend. The two finished their shift late October 5 and ended up at the beach.<br /><br />According to the friend, Jandei and the friend argued and Jandei punched his friend in the face. The friend then took off with Jandei's clothes and skateboard.<br /><br />This forced Jandei to walk home naked at 5am. The journey is about 10 miles and Jandei made it about one mile before trouble began.<br /><br />Duke Laguerre was driving west on Hollywood Boulevard between 5 and 530am when he spotted Jandei. He passed Jandei by and then turned his car around to investigate the odd sight. <br /><br />An altercation ocurred and Laguerre shot Jandei.
