Originally published on October 15, 2013 <br /><br />British police investigating the disappearance of Madeleine McCann in Portugal in 2007 announced they were looking at fresh leads and have altered the timeline of events surrounding the abduction.<br /><br />Police revealed their latest findings in the continued search for the then 3-year-old on BBC's Crimewatch.<br /><br />Noting that new evidence suggests the abduction may have been pre-planned, detectives revealed they now believe that Madeleine was abducted up to 45 minutes later than originally thought.<br /><br />A man seen carrying a pyjama-clad child near the McCann's apartment the night of the abduction in Praia da Luz, southern Portugal, is now considered a false lead.<br /><br />Investigators have released two efit images of a possible suspect. <br /><br />Thursday 3 May 2007: Timeline<br /><br />20:30 - Madeleine's parents leave their Praia da Luz holiday apartment to have dinner with friends at a nearby Tapas restaurant.<br /><br />21:05 - The girl's father returns to their holiday apartment to check on Madeleine and her siblings.<br /><br />22:00 - A man is seen carrying a blond child wearing pyjamas near their apartment block, heading toward the beach.<br /><br />22:00 - Madeleine's mother discovers her daughter has gone missing.<br /><br />--------------------------------------------------------<br /><br />TomoNews is your daily source for top animated news.
