This is my first test-ride with the battery charger connected to the XL-SDD dynamo hub I recently installed in my Quest. I installed a voltmeter and an ammeter inside the cabin, to find out exactly how much power the dynamo puts out. At 30mph, it pumps over 8W into the battery. Not bad! <br /> <br />In the video, you can also hear the dynamo humming quite clearly. It's not terribly loud, but I have a feeling it'll soon become annoying. The dynamo seems to hum louder when it's electrically loaded. Oh well...
