The Indian Coast Guard inducted three interceptor boats and a ship to its fleet at its Porbandar facility in Gujarat. The vessel, named Ankit, contains modern radar and weapons facility, and the three interceptor boats will be used for surveillance and recue in the region. Vice Admiral HCS Bisht stressed on the rapid expansion plans and the urgency behind the process.
