Originally published on July 14, 2013<br /><br />Eighteen people were killed and more than 20 were injured when a truck carrying gravel slammed into a bus in Oznobishin, about 40 km (25 miles) from Moscow on Saturday. The force of the impact split the bus in half, shattering its windows while gravel spilled from the overturned truck into the damaged vehicle.
