Airbus' new military transport aircraft, the A400M Atlas, is scheduled for delivery to the French air force in time for Bastille Day on July 14.<br /><br />The heavy cargo and troop transport plane is designed to compete with the smaller Lockheed Martin C-130J Super Hercules and larger airlifters like the Boeing C-17 Globemaster III.
