High-speed robberies seem to be the new trend for German thieves. Since November 2012 up to 50 cases of moving truck heists have been reported, according to De Spiegel. <br />The technique is usually the same. After locating the truck to rob, thieves surround it with their cars. <br />The car in front of the truck controls the speed, while the one on the side of the truck prevents the truck from changing lanes.
