Mango Sasav or Ambyache Sasav is a delicious Indian curry recipe where Mangoes are cooked in mild spices. This curry can be enjoyed with steamed rice. Our chef Archana brings you the simple yet interesting recipe! <br /> <br />Ingredients: <br /> <br />5 Mangoes, peeled <br />1 Cup Grated Coconut <br />5 to 6 Fenugreek Seeds <br />1 tsp Mustard Seeds <br />1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder <br />4 to 5 Red Chillies <br />1 1/2 tbsp Oil <br />7 to 8 Curry Leaves <br />1 tbsp Jaggery <br />Salt to taste <br />Water <br /> <br />Method: <br /> <br />- In a blender, add grated coconut, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, red chillies and some water. Grind everything to a coarse paste. <br />- In a pan, heat some oil. Then add mustard seeds, curry leaves, above mentioned coconut paste, jaggery & salt. <br />- Add some water and mix everything well. <br />- Then add peeled Mangoes. <br />- Cover it with a lid and let everything cook for 5 mins on a low flame. <br />- Mango Sasav is ready!
