Demonstrators have taken to the streets in Mexico’s southwestern state of Guerrero, to demand answers over the disappearance of 43 apprentice teachers.<br /><br /> Around 100 people marched through the streets of the state capital Chilpancingo towards the government palace, where they held a rally.<br /><br /> During the march, protesters took down political advertising and warned they would not allow federal elections to take place next month. <br /><br /> The missing students, aged between 18 and 23, vanished from the Ayotzinapa Teachers’ College last September. <br /><br /> Amnesty International estimates that more than 25-thousand people have disappeared or gone missing in Mexico, almost half of them during the presidency of Enrique Pena Nieto. <br />.
