The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) wants local government units (LGUs) to ban the use of tricycles as school service.<br /><br />The LTFRB said the safety of students is put at risk when tricycles carry more than the allowed passengers.<br /><br />The agency is powerless to stop overloaded tricycles because it has no jurisdiction over them.<br /><br />ANC Top Story, June 7, 2013
