The Bank of the Philippine Islands says its automated teller machines and electronic payment systems are back online, after encountering a technical problem Monday afternoon.<br /><br />BPI earlier apologized to cardholders for the inconvenience of not being able to withdraw their money.<br /><br />BPI corporate communications head Rita Canchela denies speculation the bank's system was hacked and considers the incident an isolated case.<br /><br />ANC Dateline Philippines, May 28, 2013
