"The Americans" and "Silicon Valley" took home the top prizes of the night at the Critics' Choice TV Awards. <br /> <br />The awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California on Sunday night (31 MAY 2015) was televised on A&E Networks. <br /> <br />It drew stars ranging from "Better Call Saul's" Bob Odenkirk -- who won for best actor in a drama series -- to Taraji P. Henson, who won for best actress for "Empire." <br /> <br />Other big winners: HBO's biopic "Bessie," starring Queen Latifah, scored best made for TV movie. Jeffrey Tambor and an absent Amy Schumer scored acting wins for their comedy series work. <br /> <br />Show highlights included a messy T.J. Miller still swallowing down food as he began his acceptance speech for his work on "Silicon Valley." And Allison Janney planted a long kiss on James Corden after she won for her work on "Mom."
