The Venezuelan justice system says it is one step closer to identifying all of the players involved in the assassination of Congressman Robert Serra last October. This comes after Wednesday’s arrest of Hugo Velez, a former Colombian politician and accused money launderer. Velez worked in the border area between Venezuela and Colombia. He has been linked to paramilitary activities and is suspected of financing young Serra’s murder. The news was welcomed by the young lawmaker’s mother. teleSUR
