But Awreeoh’s fun new video for “Don't Get Deleted” (one of four original Pharrell songs on the soundtrack under the Awreeoh moniker) does satirize our generation’s anti-social social media tendencies. <br /> <br />Zoe Kravitz Talks Sundance Film Dop and Opening for Miley Cyrus <br /> <br />The nerds-in-the-hood comedy, which sparked a bidding war at Sundance this year and releases June 19 via Open Road Films, centers on Moore’s character Malcolm, a high-school geek from Inglewood, Calif. with Harvard aspirations. Like his only two friends, he's obsessed with ‘90s hip-hop and plays in a punk band called Awreeoh (pronounced Oreo). Enter the effortlessly cool Dom (A$AP Rocky) and things take a turn for the ominous to the tune of the classics -- we’re talking Public Enemy, Naughty By Nature, Digable Planets, A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, and more. <br /> <br />The Pharrell-curated soundtrack to the film, which also stars Zoe Kravitz, Tyga, Chanel Iman, and Quincy Brown, is out June 16.
