Thousands of additional retirees are being brought into Venezuela's social security, health-care, and pension system. In a ceremony held yesterday in Caracas, 3,700 transportation workers were incorporated into the system. Extending health care and pensions to the entire population has been a key goal of the Bolivarian Revolution, and 2.2 million Venezuelans have been added to the system's rolls since 1998. teleSUR
