Pro-democracy protesters in Hong Kong were given an hour to pack up their belongings before being cleared from the front of the territory’s Legislative Council building.<br /><br /> Demonstrators said they’d leave after the rejection of Beijing-backed political reforms last week.<br /><br /> Dozens of people had camped there since the Occupy Movement protests late last year.<br /><br /> One man who refused to leave was escorted from the area.<br /><br /> The reforms would have given all residents the right to vote for the position of chief executive but only after candidates had been vetted by the Chinese government.<br /><br /> Most pro-government politicians staged a walkout as the vote took place last Thursday.
