Vikram Malhotra, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at Abundantia Entertainment and Friday Filmworks’ Producers Shital Bhatia and Neeraj Pandey have join hands for a film – titled ‘Toilet — Ek Prem Katha’. <br /> <br />Now, this would surely bring a smile to your face, but when you delve into the plot, the curiosity only increases. The film is set against the backdrop of menace of open defecation in India. <br />The story revolves around Indian women, who are forced to defecate in open because of lack of proper toilet facilities in India. <br />And the latest UNICEF reports suggest that more and more women still have to relieve themselves in the open leading to overall hygienic concerns, crime against women and health issues. <br /> <br />The issue is so grave that our honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi focused on the same in his first address to the nation on Independence Day – ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan’.
