In a statement the group’s spokesperson said “this is part of our ongoing operations against Kenya.”<br /><br /> The extremist militant group aims to topple Somalia’s government and impose its own version of Islamic law. <br /><br /> They have carried out frequent attacks in neighbouring Kenya to force Nairobi to pull its troops out of Somalia.<br /><br /> In the most bloody attack, they killed 148 people at a university in Kenya’s Garissa county in April.
