Victim of London bombings worried that people are forgetting what happened

A minute of silence has been held in memory of the victims of the 2005 London bombings.<br /><br /> The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, and the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, have laid floral tributes to mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks, which killed 56 people.<br /><br /> Also gathered were relatives of the victims and survivors.<br /><br /> The commemorations come as Britain still reels from an attack in Tunisia last month, which resulted in Britain’s worst loss of life in a militant assault since the London attacks.<br /><br /> “Today the country comes together to remember the victims of one of the deadliest terrorist atrocities on mainland Britain,” Cameron said in a statement.<br /><br /> “Ten years on from the 7/7 London attacks, the threat from terrorism continues to be as real as it is deadly. The murder of 30 innocent Britons whilst holidaying in Tunisia is a brutal reminder of that fact.
