A suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber has killed at least 25 people in northern Nigeria.<br /><br /> The attack on a local government building at Zaria in Kaduna state bore all the hallmarks of the Islamist militant group. <br /><br /> In the central city of Jos, on Sunday, Boko Haram was blamed for killing at least 44 people in twin bomb blasts targeting a restaurant and a mosque. <br /><br /> And on Monday, a girl thought to be aged just 13 blew herself up near a mosque in an apparent suicide attack attempt in Kano, Nigeria’s second-largest city.<br /><br /> The Islamists have intensified their campaign of violence since new President Muhammadu Buhari took office in May, vowing to quell their insurgency. <br /><br /> Last week alone, more than 200 people died in a string of attacks in Nigeria.<br /><br /> Boko Haram has been waging an insurgency since 2009 to establish a state in Nigeria’s northeast adhering to strict Sharia law. <br /><br /> It took over large swathes of territory last year but has since been repelled from most parts by Nigerian force
