A volcano in western Indonesia continued to spew clouds of searing gas high into the air, letting out a new pyroclastic flow of hot ash on Friday. Authorities are closely monitoring Mount Sinabung on Sumatra, one of Indonesia's main islands, after the volcano has been more active than usual in recent days.
