FIFA officials have held their first meeting in Zurich since a corruption scandal tore through the world footballing body.<br /><br /> Seven FIFA officials were arrested in May as part of a US led probe into alleged large scale corruption and bribery.<br /><br /> It is expected the meeting will decide a date for the election of a new president, with a December date thought most likely.<br /><br /> The current FIFA president Sepp Blatter, is also expected to reveal his plans to reform the body.<br /><br /> Blatter made the shock announcement at the beginning of last month that he was going to step down<br /><br /> He has been in charge since 1998, and was newly elected for a fifth term in May when external pressure forced him to announce his resignation.<br /><br /> Among the front-runners is the current UEFA President Michel Platini.<br /><br /> The former French player and manager was once seen as a protege of Blatter but has turned to become one of his strongest critics within the organisation.
