Bomb attacks across Iraq have killed at least 32 people. <br /><br /> The deadliest was a car bomb in a mainly Shi’ite area of Baghdad, which killed 16 people and wounded 48.<br /><br /> Police and medical sources say a suicide attack at a checkpoint in the central town of Tarmiya killed at least six soldiers and one police officer.<br /><br /> In the mainly Kurdish town of Mandali eight people were killed and 16 wounded in a car bomb explosion. <br /><br /> Anbar offensive<br /><br /> Meanwhile police and tribal sources say Iraqi security forces and Sunni tribal fighters have launched an operation to dislodge fighters from the group calling itself Islamic State, (ISIL) and secure a supply route in Anbar province.
