That was one commentator’s response to Amazon’s surprise profit and better-than-expected sales figures.<br /><br /> The online retail giant reported a 92 million dollar profit in stark contrast to the 126 million dollar loss for the same period one year ago.<br /><br /> Sales figures showed a 20 percent rise in the second quarter to 23.2 billion dollars.<br /><br /> Profits surged more than 18 percent in after hours trading on Wall Street.<br /><br /> Amazon was also upbeat on its prospects for the current third quarter, forecasting sales growth between 13 and 24 percent compared to last year.
