A local non-profit organization has declared a boycott of ALL products and services from Lotte Group and its affiliates... saying the conglomerate's actions show it has no consideration for the community or its customers.<br />The Financial Consumer Agency says the ongoing family feud at the top of Lotte Group is based on greed and individual interests.<br />The agency also says it's a clear example of the social indifference Korea's largest family-run business groups,... known as "chaebol," have toward the local community.<br />It adds that questionable inter-affiliate deals and shady internal transactions have fueled growing economic inequality in Korea.<br />The agency is calling on consumers to join its boycott of Lotte in a show of protest against the way chaebols operate.<br />The agency is also pushing for a probe to see if Lotte Group has engaged in immoral business practices,... such as tax evasion.
