Bolivia has welcomed Chile’s call to meet in The Hague to resolve the centuries old dispute over access to the Pacific Ocean for the landlocked country. Tensions remain high after President Evo Morales said he was considering the expulsion of the Chilean consul for involvement in destabilization plans. Chilean Foreign Minister Gerardo Muñoz criticized Morales, saying that Chile would meet Bolivia at The Hague. Bolivia responded that this was always their attention. teleSUR.
