A French woman who was abducted in Yemen in February has been freed and is expected in Paris on Friday morning, according to a statement from the office of President Hollande.<br /><br /> No details have been revealed of her release.<br /><br /> Prime and her translator Shereen Makawi were abducted by gunmen in the Yemeni capital Sanaa while the pair were on their way to work. <br /><br /> Makawi was released in March. <br /><br /> In June, Paris authenticated a video in which the French consultant begged to be brought back to France.<br /><br /> In recent years, Yemeni tribesmen have taken foreigners hostage. <br /><br /> Yemen is also home to one of the most active al Qaeda branches.
