August 22nd, a boat ran aground on the shores of the Dokloboué village. The boat carried three men and fifty boxes of cocaine.

According to the police, two of the men, from Ghana, were killed and buried on the beach. The other man, a south-American, apparently bribed the villagers to save his life and escape. According to the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, since January 2007, more than 4 tons of cocaine have been seized in the area: that's twice more than a year ago. Indeed, West Africa is becoming a important hub in the world-wide drug traffic.
