Ahmedabad: Leading educational institutes and libraries are making books immortal - virtually. Rare books and publications are now in the focus of many local and national-level projects of digitization. Under the Shodhganga project, Gujarat University (GU) has made maximum contribution and started the process of digitization of thesis. GU is uploading large number of theses at a rapid rate. Shodganga provides a platform for research students to deposit their PhD theses and make them openly accessible to the scholarly community.
