Despite having obviously failed in constructing and maintaining four incinerators worth almost RM 200 million, a contractor still had their contract renewed by the Housing, Local Government and Urban Well Being Ministry.<br /><br />XCN Technologies were clearly termed as unqualified contractors who should have never been chosen for the project in a report tabled by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) yesterday.<br /><br />But, DAP's Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming said in a press conference at the Parliament lobby that the contractors were still awarded a RM 3.5 million contract in April 2014 to continue repair and manage the Pangkor incinerator.
