Sisters in Islam, a Muslim women’s group filed for a judicial review on a gazetted fatwa in Selangor that declared those subscribing to "liberalism and pluralism" as "deviating" from Islam, whilst citing the NGO.<br /><br />SIS executive director Ratna Osman and board member Marina Mahathir said they were clueless about the fatwa against them and questioned the basis of it.
