Powerful typhoon Vongfong barrels into Japan's main islands, with at least one person missing and scores injured while more than 550 flights are grounded.<br /><br />Winds of up to 180 kilometres per hour whipped ashore as the typhoon made landfall at Makurazaki on Kyushu island Monday morning.
