Abdul Khalid Ibrahim has announced that he will be stepping down as Menteri Besar, negating the need of snap polls.<br /><br />However the sultan has deferred his resignation until a new MB is appointed.<br /><br />PKR, DAP, and PAS must now each nominate more than 2 candidates.<br /><br />When asked if he would accept a nomination to be MB again, a smiling Khalid said 'no', as he was happy to be relieved of his duty.
