Spectacular footage emerged on Monday of lava pouring down the slope of Stromboli Volcano into the Mediterranean sea.<br /><br />The rare footage was captured by expert volcano photographer and videographer Martin Rietze on the 9th and 10th of August.<br /><br />The clip begins by showing spectacular littoral explosions as the lava flows down the Sciara del Fuoco into the sea.
