A shocking video has emerged of a chaotic stage invasion at a Morrissey gig in San Jose California on Wednesday that caused the singer to exit the stage mid-song.<br /><br />Eager fans began running on stage to hug the singer during his encore, managing to escape the security controls in place.<br /><br />After a few members of the audience were able to give Morrissey a hug, many others decided to join in until the stage was crowded with hysterical fans.<br /><br />The scene then appeared to turn violent as fans began desperately trying to grab hold of the singer, forcing him to depart the stage.<br /><br />The concert was the first of Morrissey's new North American tour to promote his forthcoming album.
