A hilarious video has emerged from China showing scores of male contestants falling off a greasy pole at an event in Fujian Province.<br /><br />In the footage a man can be seen applying butter to a long log while the plucky competitors queue up to try their luck at walking the length of it.<br /><br />Predictably, the majority of them fall into the water below to the delight of the assembled crowds.<br /><br />The light-hearted contest was held on Saturday ahead of the upcoming Duanwu Festival.
