Travis Twizell was on holiday in British Columbia, Canada on Wednesday with his wife and two children where they had an incredible encounter with one of nature's most impressive predators.<br /><br />They had just been watching humpback whales when they noticed some sealions in the water and decided to go and investigate. <br /><br />Suddenly, a pod of killer whales surfaced and started to the pursue the sealions which stayed close to the boat for safety. <br /><br />The Twizells watched an incredible pursuit unfold inches away from their boat as the sealions tried in vain to outrun the whales.<br /><br />Eventually, the whales began to pick off the tired sealions before surrounding them and moving in for the kill.<br /><br />"It was an incredibly impressive thing to witness," said Travis Twizell.
